About 8 kilometers from Taudaha Lake is the little town of Seshnarayan. Those who are interested in listening to the Monks chanting in Tibetan or attending pujas should make a stop at this village. Ascend the steps leading up to the Seshnarayan Buddhist Monastery, now headed by Jyatal Rinpoche. Visitors can listen to the Monks between 7 and 8 a.m. every day or between 3 and 4 p.m. daily also. Each month, the monks hold special pujas and prayers on specific days of the Tibetan calendar. |
